Christopher Anderson Reed is a professional pianist in Fuquay-Varina, NC and creator of the Triangle area's "Beethoven and Blue Jeans" concert series.
An active performer in the community, Chris' "Beethoven and Blue Jeans" concert series has drawn audiences of all ages and backgrounds since its beginnings in May 2009. Chris has also served as a guest artist-teacher for Meredith College's Summer Piano Camps and serves regularly as an adjudicator for piano contests and festivals throughout the region.
Chris is a member of several professional music organizations, including the Raleigh Piano Teachers Association (Scholarship Committee Chair, 2013-2014), the North Carolina Music Teachers Association, and the American Society of Composers, Arrangers and Publishers (ASCAP). His students perform frequently in the community and have routinely earned top honors at local piano festivals and competitions. Chris' arrangements for the piano soloist are published by the Lorenz Corporation.
